Bioderma Sensibio H20

Bioderma Sensibio H20 review

One of the most relaxing parts of my day is sitting down and applying my makeup in the morning. I turn on my Spotify app, put my playlist on shuffle and begin with my makeup routine. There’s nothing better than jamming out to some awesome tunes while applying your favourite blush or lip colour, am I right?

Now while playing with makeup is all good and fun, it’s important that all of those products that we apply to our faces are removed at the end of the day. Not removing your makeup is a big no-no as it can lead to blemishes and other skin irritations, so the product I am going to be talking about today I am sure you have all heart about or already have in your beauty arsenal – the *Bioderma Sensibio H20.

This makeup removing micelle solution is a really mild, non-rinse cleanser that works for both face and eyes. It is an extremely easy product to use which is why I have been reaching for it so much the past month. All you need to do is soak a cotton round in the solution, hold it on your eyes for a few seconds and gently wipe away. It removes all of my eye makeup, even stubborn eyeliners and mascaras, and doesn’t leave my eyes feeling sensitive or dry. I also love using this to take off the majority of my face makeup before going in with my cleanser, and even using it afterwards to get rid of any foundation that may be left behind.

I have tried a multitude of cleansers from foams, gels, oils but hadn’t yet tested out a cleansing water so I now see what all the hype is about! This stuff really works and I wish I had of tried it out sooner! Want to try out Bioderma for yourself? Check out their expansive range of products on their site,!

While perusing around Sephora recently, I came across a product by Too Faced that I had never seen before. Fiber lash mascaras have always intrigued me and the claim of  “..ridiculously longer & thicker lashes” sold me right then and there. I have quite short and straight lashes so I thought who better to test this instant lash extension kit than me?

The Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Extreme! ($46) is a three step process which is said to give you long, voluminous lashes. You start off by applying one coat of mascara, then follow that up with a coat of the nylon lash extension fibers, and then seal them into place with a final coat of mascara. A good tip to mention is to apply the fiber layer right after your first coat of mascara so they adhere much better and not get all over the place. The mascara in this kit is very fast drying so you do need to work a bit quicker than normal, but using it on it’s own will give you natural looking lashes.

Did this kit give me “better than false lashes” lashes? No, it didn’t. The process gave my lashes some thickness, but it also made them spidery (even when being extremely careful) and weighed them down which caused my lashes to lose their curl. Is this product worth the price? Not for me. For someone who has much longer and thicker lashes naturally, this kit will do much more for you than it did for me. I think I’ll stick with my strip lashes!

Have you tried fiber mascaras? What was your experience?
