I honestly don’t know how I haven’t already written about this product on the blog yet, as I have wanted to share my love for it so many times. You know when you find a product that is absolutely amazing and you don’t know how you’ve ever lived without it? This is one of those products for me.
During a shopping trip, I stopped into the L’Occitane store with a friend to take a look at their offerings as I’d never tried any products from them before. Since I have quite a drier skin type, I was recommended the L’Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil ($52) by the lovely sales assistant and as soon as I tested it I couldn’t believe how amazing it felt on the skin. I was a bit hesitant to pick it up as it’s quite a pricey product, however, you most certainly your money’s worth with 100 ml of product. The entire rest of the shopping trip I was raving about how soft my hands were!
This beautifully rich oil comes in a lovely glass bottle with a spray pump, so it’s easy to apply directly onto the skin or into your hands. You’ll never have to worry about any spilling mishaps, so I really appreciate the addition of the pump. I love how deeply nourishing and hydrating this oil is and I have been using it even more religiously now that I am pregnant and it’s a must-have for the colder months. I can’t even begin to explain how delicious this smells, and it’s sweet but not overwhelming scent, lingers on the skin for hours.
I am a person that absolutely hates the feeling of greasy and oily creams and lotions on my hands, it’s a weird phobia I know, but this sinks into the skin relatively quickly so you’re not left feeling sticky. It’s become a little ritual to apply this right before bed and my fiance even likes to steal this from me to use from time to time as well – cheeky! Once you try this oil out for yourself you’re going to wish that you had of sooner, trust me. I am now a firm lover of L’Occitane products and this will be a forever re-purchase. It truly is the only body oil you’ll ever need, hands down.
What is your holy grail body oil or lotion?
