Mascara, along with foundation, are one of those beauty products that I can’t stop buying. Since I have such short and straight lashes that don’t like to hold a curl, I am always on the hunt for a mascara that will give me great volume and length. My Benefit They’re Real Mascara is on it’s last days so of course I had to take a trip to Sephora, right?

I love browsing through all the displays to see what’s new with each brand, and when I was at the Guerlain stand my eyes were instantly drawn to this mascara. The Guerlain Cils D’Enfer Maxi Lash Waterproof Mascara comes in this gorgeously sleek rectangular packaging with a chrome-like effect. The mascara is shorter than you average mascara and the brush is packed with bristles that really separate the lashes and give lots of volume. Oh, and the mascara smells very floral and pretty. You can definitely tell that Guerlain pulled out all the stops with this luxury mascara.

I will never have gorgeously long and full Kardashian lashes, but I am extremely happy with how this mascara transformed what little short and straight ones I do have. The fact that this mascara curled them this well with just the wand itself, no eyelash curler used beforehand and stayed looking great until I removed my makeup at the end of the night is simply amazing. Typically my lashes ‘droop’ quickly after application but I am happy to report that didn’t happen with this little gem.

Being the first product from Guerlain that I have tried I am extremely impressed and can’t wait to explore more from the brand. I have my eyes on their Météorites Illuminating Pearls and Bronzing Powder. Have you tried anything from Guerlain?
