I have changed up my brow routine quite a few times over the years, but recently I have really been loving going for that bolder look. I personally love seeing how other people do their eyebrows so I thought I would share my brow routine with you. I don’t like to spend a long amount of time on them as I’d rather spend it on my base or eyeshadow, so I use just three products and my routine takes me no time at all.
First I like to comb through my brows just to get them into into a more manageable state. I then start out by outlining the top and bottom of my brow first so I can get a nice defined shape with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Caramel. I love this pencil as it’s it’s very small and precise and since it’s mechanical you don’t need to sharpen it. Just twist it up and you’re good to go.
After I have defined my brows, I fill them in with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade in Caramel. I like using the Nanshy Angled Detailer brush to do this as it’s on the smaller side so it works great on my thinner brows and a little bit of this product goes a long way. I then run through my brows again with a spooly brush to help distrubute the product and get rid of any harshness.
Lastly, I want to make sure that my brows stay in place during the day so I go in with the Clinique Just Browsing Brush-On Styling Mousse in Light Brown. The brush is very tiny so it’s easy to coat all of the hairs and I like that the formula is more on the dry side so you don’t get that very wet look and feel to the eyebrows.
So that is my three step routine for achieving bolder brows. Depending on my mood, or if I’m short for time, I’ll skip out on the brow pomade which gives a more natural look that I enjoy as well. I love how much of a difference spending a few minutes to do your brows actually makes. It really polishes off your final look and it’s a step I never miss.
